Return Policy

At Handaart, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of curtains and textile decor products. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and exchanges. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

• Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date or pickup date

• Items must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact

• You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice)

• Custom-made items, made-to-measure curtains, and personalized products are generally not eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Custom-made or made-to-measure curtains and textile products (unless defective)

• Items that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer

• Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance"

• Installation services that have already been completed

• Gift cards and promotional items

4. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery at help@handaart.world or call +1 (888) 633-2658 to request a return authorization

2. Provide your order number and reason for return

3. We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions

4. Package the item securely in its original packaging (if available) and include the RA number

5. Ship the item to the address provided in your return instructions

5. Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a defective item or an item that differs from what you ordered, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Change of Mind: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise specified.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund:

• Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after we receive the returned item

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase

• The refund amount will include the original purchase price, excluding original shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)

• Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card company's processing time

7. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items of equal or greater value. If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us to discuss available options. Exchanges are subject to product availability and must meet the same return eligibility requirements. You will be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

9. Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it ships or before custom work begins:

Standard Orders: Can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund

Custom Orders: Can be cancelled before fabrication begins. Once custom work has started, cancellation may be subject to a cancellation fee based on work completed

10. Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund. Store credit can be used for future purchases and does not expire. Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
